This week the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) launched a new, mobile-friendly website, www.wcct.net. The site is easy-to-use and provides prospective students with new avenues to register for upcoming courses – online, by fax, mail or phone. The new site also allows students to submit payment by credit card, PayPal, check or to be invoiced.
WCCT is hosting four Blockmakers Workshops® this fall. Complete course descriptions, costs, travel details and Alpena area information is available online. Early registration is encouraged to reserve your seat.

We’re also excited to announce that the Master Blockmaker® program has expanded to allow students to choose from a wider range of courses to earn the Master Blockmaker certification. “We wanted to provide students with the opportunity to take courses they need to better do their jobs rather than a rigid set of standard classes to earn Master Blockmaker status,” said Kari Schellie, Director of Marketing & Information Technology, Besser Company. Students can now choose any five of the following week-long Blockmakers Workshop courses to earn the certification that many in the concrete products industry strive to achieve.
