Every three years industry professionals from around the globe gather for the International Conference in Concrete Block Pavement (ICCBP). This year’s event, held from 8-11 September, at the International Congress Centre in Dresden, Germany attracted more than 600 attendees.
Recognized industry experts presented current developments in the concrete paving stone construction method. Lectures covered a diverse range of topics including constructive design, planning, manufacture and execution of concrete block pavements, aspects of landscape planning, innovations and research, ecological aspects of water-permeable pavements, preservation, preservation planning as well as manufacturing technologies and the material design of concrete paving stones. The agenda was aimed at manufacturers, installation companies, scientists and engineers involved with the planning and construction of traffic areas superstructures.
