SERVICE TIP

Concrete Products Machine Base Grouting Procedure

  1. Clean and blow out all debris from under the machine base.

  2. Be sure that all vent holes are open and free of debris.

  3. When the base is clean, wet the area under the base with a hose so the grout will flow.

  4. Mix the grout to a pourable consistency.

  5. With a 1" pencil vibrator, pour the grout through the center hole in the machine. Vibrate and add grout until the grout is coming out through all vent holes.

  6. Allow the grout to cure for three days before operating the machine.

  7. Non-shrink grout must be used. Type V-1 Unisorb or equivalent (Unisorb Installation Technologies - Jackson, Michigan).

  8. Once grouting has begun, it must be completed in one pour to prevent a cold joint.
