Why are
the air lines and control valves for the aeration pads full of cement?
Cause
- Aeration pads
damaged by high pressure allowing cement to migrate into airlines
- Filter / regulator
not operating properly
- Pressure set too
high
Test
- Check ALL aeration
pads for damage
Solution
- Replace ALL aeration
pads (mandatory)
- Clean cement from
all airlines or replace
- Replace damaged air
control valve
- Replace filter /
regulator if damaged
- Set pressure on
filter / regulator no higher than 7 psi on any aeration system
