The Besser Model SPT
Integrated Splitter and Turnover is the only machine available to the
marketplace that can operate sequentially or independently depending on
current production needs. In a single cycle the SPT can split units,
turn units or split and turn units.

Standard Features
- Located in line directly after the depalleter

The Besser Model SPT
splitter can split 4" (100 mm), 8" (200 mm), 10" (250
mm),
and 12" (300 mm) units and turn them automatically. When split,
8" (200 mm), 10" (250 mm), or 12" (300 mm) units are turned
together. Once turned, the unit's core holes are in position to allow
the turned unit to be used as a base course; avoiding the need to use
expensive shipping pallets. Once 4" (100 mm) units are split they
are turned 90 degrees as a complete unit and sent to the cubing line.
To assure the highest
concrete product quality, a pusher bar positions
the product for splitting. Any contact from the pusher bar during the
splitting process could mar the unit. The SPT pusher bar reverses before
the unit is split to eliminate any possible contact with the masonry
unit. The reversing pushing bar is a unique quality to Besser SPT
splitters.
The SPT features a
space conscious design, therefore, saving valuable room on the plant
floor. In addition, it does not need to move in and out of line because
it is a dual purpose machine. It is always ready to be put into action.
