Besser has built custom-made aggregate

Model: Portable 180 LP
Batch Plant
Features:
- The new Besser Portable 180 LP batch plant
is a high-performance, unitized low profile batch system designed to
satisfy the requirements of larger capacity ready-mix concrete trucks. The
plant is completely self-contained in an integrated framework and is
easily towed to the manufacturing location. Once on site, the pre-wired,
pre-plumbed unit is readily erected and positioned on an installation
surface using 12 self-supporting legs.

The standard plant will
supply up to 180 cubic yards of concrete per hour and is CPMB rated for up
to a 12 cubic yard batch per cycle. The three-or-four compartment
aggregate bin has a 55 cubic yard (74 ton) capacity, and it can be
extended to include 100 cubic yards (135 tons) within the basic framework.

The Portable 180 LP batch
plant incorporates a recirculation cement batcher and aggregate batcher
supported by a load cell system. The aggregate batcher utilizes a 30"
live bottom variable speed conveyor rather than conventional discharge
gates and provides individual fill rates to each truck. Truck loading is
accomplished with 180 degree access to the plant discharge.

For rapid and versatile
operation, the 900 cubic foot cement storage bin has two 10" diameter
screw conveyors to feed the cement batcher, plus a 5 hp high volume, low
pressure blower system to supply aeration.
