New Master Blockmaker™
The number of Master Blockmakers
continues to increase as more Blockmaker Workshops® are completed at the
new World Center for Concrete Technology in Alpena, Michigan.
Samuel Mosley
of Marshall Concrete Products in Christiansburg, Virginia earned his
Master Blockmaker certification after completing the Electronic Controls
workshop in February 2001.

Blockmakers Workshops originated in 1954
to assist in developing qualified professionals in the concrete products
industry. The workshops are a joint partnership between the World Center
for Concrete Technology, Alpena Community College and the Besser Family of
Companies. All Master Blockmakers have successfully completed five
predetermined courses that prepare each individual in the efficient and
effective production of quality concrete products.
