New Dry Cast Machine
The versatile
Besser BQ dry cast machine brings many advantages to the
producer. The machine is designed for rapid production of
concrete riser sections, manholes and various shapes including
square, arch and elliptical. Ease of operation is engineered
into the machine, which features quick changeover of
attachments, easy product stripping and fewer wearing parts. The
BQ system does not require a machine pit.
The
hydraulically operated Besser BQ machine uses two slide tables
for production. A product is made on one while the other table
is stripped and reset, ensuring that continuous production is
always maintained. The machine feed mechanism is an integral
part of the system, using an overhead hopper as a reservoir for
the concrete mix. An internal auger mounted under the hopper
maintains positive feed, while a core-mounted distributor evenly
places the concrete into the form. Internal hydraulic vibration
combines with positive feed and an oscillating presshead
assembly for continuous production of high quality concrete
products.
