Appointed Operations Manager
Jim Steen joins Besser
Company on 1 March 2002 as operations manager for the San Antonio, Texas
manufacturing location. Jim has a management style that focuses on safety
and producing quality products at peak production levels.
Jim has more than 20
years of experience in the aggregate processing industry. He was
previously the general manager of the Stoneport quarry operation in
Northern Michigan. His bachelor’s degree in chemistry was earned from
Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Prior to appointing Jim
as operations manager, Robert Ober was responsible for the San Antonio
facility. During the past six months, Robert accomplished a great deal as
interim manager. The addition of Jim will allow Robert to concentrate his
efforts on sales and engineering for the different segments of the
concrete markets that Besser serves.
The experience and
knowledge that Jim and Robert bring to the team is a great asset to
customers.
