Master Blockmaker™ Certification Earned

The number of Master Blockmakers continues to increase as more Blockmakers Workshops are completed at the World Center for Concrete Technology in Alpena, Michigan.

Completing the Master Blockmaker certification requirements during the fall of 2003 (October - December 2003):

 Blockmakers Workshops originated in 1954 to assist in developing qualified professionals in the concrete products industry.  The workshops are a joint partnership between the World Center for Concrete Technology, Alpena Community College and Besser Company.  All Master Blockmakers have successfully completed five predetermined courses that prepare each individual in the efficient and effective production of quality concrete products.
