Introduces Vision 2 Automation
Besser
Company has introduced Vision 2, a complete automation system for
Bidirectional and conventional packerhead pipe machines.The system builds upon the functionality of Vision Automation and
adds new enhancements for even more precision and reliability in pipe
manufacturing.Vision 2 utilizes a
programmable logic controller (PLC) for solid-state electronic control.Versatile pre-programmed logic maintains control of the basic
machine cycle and numerous built-in options.Extended memory in the system allows storage and recall of setup
information for each pipe size produced by the machine.
Machine
adjustments are made using a color touchscreen interface in the
freestanding machine supervisor’s console.The supervisor uses the touchscreen to monitor machine operation
and adjust machine functions.The
console also houses a flat panel color video monitor that allows the
supervisor to watch pipe manufacturing from the plant floor through any of
three closed circuit television cameras.
