Concrete brick are gaining in popularity
throughout United States as a result of the shortage of clay brick and
the many intrinsic benefits of using a concrete product. Outfitted with
the proper mold your current Besser concrete products machine can
produce any of the three varieties described.
Cored: These are the lightest
in weight of the varieties. They can be manufactured "on the
flat" by using a mold with vertical cores or "on edge" by
using a mold and a core puller. The brick face can be stri, smooth or
split. When a core puller and heated stripper shoes are used, worm, bark
and thumbprint faces can be achieved.

Frogged: These brick are made
with a 1/4"
(6.35 mm) deep x 1-3/8"
(35 mm) wide indentation that protrudes 6-1/2"
(165 mm) down the unit.
The indentation prevents shifting of the unit as it is laid into the
wall. Made on end, these brick feature stri, smooth or split faces.

Solid: Produced "on
end," these units feature stri, smooth or split faces.
The use of unique aggregates and color blends will allow the
production of rich, attractive brick that are sure to find favor with
architects, contractors and homeowners.
