Tip
Prevent
Block Cracking in the Center Web
To prevent cracking
in the center web of concrete block, check the bushings and shafts on
the vibrator motor mounts to make sure they are round. If they are
egg-shaped, replace the bushings.
Web cracks can also
be the result of over-tightening the core bars, which bow the bells.
Reference Besser service bulletin 96-4 at www.besser.com/servicebulletins/sb96-4.htm
for torque requirements.
Contact the Besser
Service Parts Center by phone 800.530.9991 or 989. 354.3166, by fax
989.354.3190, or e-mail sales@besser.com
to order new bushings.
