The
Future of Concrete Masonry
Spotlight
Block - an alternative way to produce half block, providing:
- A lighter
unit
- Improved
fill
- Ability to
adapt to Korfil inserts
Conventional breaker core assemblies have a 3/8" center dividing
plate, which serves as a break point to saw cut or break with a hammer,
to make two usable half units. Feeding the ties on each side of the
3/8" divider has always been a concern for producers.
"Spotlight" block eliminates the center divider on the core
assembly making it easier to fill the mold. "Spotlight" block
can be saw-cut into two usable half units or can be broken with a hammer
to make one usable half unit.
Standard widths can be produced in inch or metric. A set of parts for
one compartment consists of the following: (1) core assembly, (2) stripper shoes
and (1) plunger.
